The 12th Singapore Silent Heroes Awards, held on 27 September 2025 at the Island Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel, marked another meaningful milestone in Civilians Association (Singapore)’s continued commitment to building a caring and compassionate society. Organised by CAS in collaboration with the Singapore Silent Heroes Movement, the evening brought together 400 guests, including community leaders, past awardees, volunteers, partners and well wishers, united by a shared belief that kindness and humanity deserve recognition.

Since its inception, the Singapore Silent Heroes initiative has stood firmly at the heart of CAS’ mission to uplift lives and strengthen social cohesion. The awards honour ordinary Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who quietly serve others without expectation of reward or recognition. These individuals embody CAS’ values of service, empathy and social responsibility, reminding society that meaningful change often begins with simple acts of compassion.

A single act of compassion, no matter how quiet, has the power to transform lives.
