Applications are open for nominations for this year’s Singapore Silent Heroes Awards. The announcement was made at the ‘Impact for Humanity’ Symposium held at the Republic Polytechnic on Thursday (March 5). The public can nominate individuals who have made a positive contribution to their communities.
Information about the finalists for the award will be published on the Unsung Heroes website. This is to raise awareness among the public and to recognize their contributions. An independent panel of judges will select the awardees. The Unsung Heroes Awards will be held in September.

The Unsung Heroes Awards were launched in 2014. The Unsung Heroes Awards recognise individuals who demonstrate compassion, courage and dedication in serving others without expecting recognition or reward. The awards recognise those who, through their daily actions, are building stronger, more resilient communities in Singapore. reemad@sph.com.sg
