Yoga is a big business in Singapore. However Aturl Ramesh Deshpande looks at Yoga as a means to help others. For the past 20 years, Atul has been actively propagating Yoga in Singapore, bringing health and well-being to thousands of people.
To date, there have been more than 51,000 Hathayoga participants across Singapore and the number continues to grow. Free Hathayoga courses are conducted across 20 centres across Singapore. Inspired by Atul, more than 200 active and well-trained Hathayoga instructors have come forward to provide free training.
At these yoga sessions, special attention is given to those suffering from ailments. Specially trained instructors handle such ailments.

Atul Ramesh Deshpande was nominated for the Outstanding Adult Category for the SSH Awards 2017. He was the selected winner and received award from Guest of Honour: Mr Chan Chun Sing – Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) at Shangri-La Hotel on 17th September 2017.
