Ms Ong started the ‘Project Love Lunch’ to help residents of Marsiling by providing weekly meals and groceries for those in need. In 2016, due to an unfortunate road accident Ms Ong had sustained an injury leaving her dominant hand being disabled. However, despite her physical disability Ms Ong continued her commitment to volunteer work by beginning this initiative.
Soon after Ms Ong had expanded her project to include members of the Yishun area and finally moved on to focus on the Yishun area in 2020. Her notorious work and dedicated to volunteer work have been featured in Straits Times, OurSG, Women Talk, Channel 8 and more.
During the unprecedented times of 2020, Ms Ong dedicated her time to giving more support to the families by providing meals for children during the HBL period and care pack for families supported by The Majurity Trust.
Ms Ong is currently leading a team of volunteers to serve close to 200 families in Yishun. Beside monthly groceries, she also facilitates corporate donations of bread, sweet treats and festivities packs. She has worked with more than 10 corporate and school CSR team over the past 6 years.
Ms Ong has served her community well all these years despite having a disability. Ms Ong’s
perseverance has shown her resilience and commitment to carry on helping those in need.
Despite all odds, Ms Ong’s spirit and desire to help families in Singapore is incredibly inspiring.

Ms Priscilla Ong was nominated for the “Heart of Humanit” Category for the SSH Awards 2021. She was the selected winner and received award from Guest of Honour: Mr. Lawrence Wong – Minister for Finance, at Shangri-La Hotel on 28th August 2021.
