The Silent Heroes Award (“Award”) was first launched in 2014. Since then, the Award ceremony has traditionally been hosted at the Shangri-La Hotel, during the third quarter of the year. The guest-of-honour at the inaugural awards ceremony in 2014 was Ms Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Finance & Ministry of Law.

SINGAPORE SILENT HEROES AWARD NIGHT 2017

VENUE: Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore
EVENT: 30th August 2017
In 2017, again at the Island Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel, 3 individual winners were honoured and celebrated. Mr. Chan Chun Sing, Minister in Prime Minister’s Office and Secretary General of NTUC Graced the occasion and presented the awards. The Award was presented across specific social and community categories in which candidates have made significant contributions.
Each year the Award committee will set up the categories and the set of criteria for suitable qualifying candidates to fulfil. The Award ceremony for 2017 was open to individuals across categories.
