In 2019, the Award’s sixth consecutive and milestone year, the ceremony was held at the
Shangri-La Hotel on 31 August 2019. The Guest-of-Honour was Mr. Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister in the Ministry of National Development. Silent Heroes Award was presented to candidates who have been identified as the exemplary amongst us in their contribution towards the society.

EVENT: 31st August 2019
In 2019, again at the Island Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel, 5 individual winners were honoured and celebrated. Mr. Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister in the Ministry of National Development graced the occasion and presented the awards. The Award was presented across specific social and community categories in which candidates have made significant contributions.
Each year the Award committee will set up the categories and the set of criteria for suitable qualifying candidates to fulfil. The Award ceremony for 2019 was open to individuals across categories.
